KEY POLICIES
The Vision of the NADP is sustainable transformation of the country's agriculture sector into a vibrant and productive economic sector that contributes to economic growth, social wellbeing national food security and poverty alleviation.

Date: 2007In pursuing its vision, NADP has the following goals that are closely interrelated and complementary:
- To stimulate growth and sustainable development of agriculture sector;
- To improve food security, nutrition, income and employment opportunities of majority of rural population;
- To improve the capacity of concerned institutions to generate technologies and extension services; and
- To increase the government institutional support to agriculture.

Date: 2007The overall goal of NADP is to stimulate economic growth in the Agriculture sector in all districts through the development of the well coordinated planning and implementation that are interactive, and effective, involving the full participation of the stakeholders, which promotes food security, income generation and poverty alleviation.
