The focus of the National ICT Policy is to provide an ICT strategic framework to facilitate socio-economic development of the Cook Islands and to enable Cook Islanders to participate effectively in the local and global economy. Citizens will be able to exploit the potential of the digital world to foster entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and to seek out the best ideas and solutions on offer from the rest of the world, consequently increasing productivity across the economy. This policy will serve as the primary tool for an effective coordination of efforts of various stakeholders towards achieving the policy objectives identified in this policy.
